Odd things my kids like to play…

Okay…my kids play the oddest things. They like to put blankets in their clothese as much as they can possibly fit and see how hard it is to play and run around when you are really that large…. I was sitting in the recliner yesterday when this large oversize stuffed child went running by the window. I burst out laughing..they look hilarious and I am sure the neighbors think we are odd for allowing it. But they are hysterical the entire time they are doing this…so Kenny and I let them have their fun!

Tennessee Cousins

My cousin, Stephanie and her kiddos come to West Virginia every spring for Spring Break. The kids all have a blast together!!! Parker is Blake’s age and have alot in common and Kinlee is close to Camye’s age, but Chloe and Paul hang with them all too. This year they enjoyed trips to my other grandparents house, where there is an awesome creek that I used to ‘live’ in. I even caught my first crawdad and snake in that creek. Blake and Parker got to give their Faith Is The Victory speeches at my Mamaws church and Chloe and Camye did their speeches for my Mamaws ladies bible class and Kinlee did a scripture reading. It was so wonderful! However, if my Papaw Wells could have seen those boys , he would have been so proud. The whole time the boys were giving their speeches, I just could picture my Papaw’s face. Those kids would have made him soooo proud!!

Okay ..enough now that I am crying….I need to move on. This year we had some entertainment with the BIG game. Parker and Blake versus Camye and Chloe. It was a close one!! With food, drinks, halftime shows, and autographs ….it was a show to behold.

Crafty Fun at Homeschool 4H

Today was finally a day out…everything has been cancelled all month!! But 4h was a go today! Blake is taking a Herpetology class…which I did not know what that even meant but it is the study of Reptiles. As much as I dont like reptiles, his class is awesome and has great field trips in the future. The class is also making a lapbook (great for the portfolio). Camye started Jewerly making class today!! And it was awesome!!
Above is Camye and her friend Ashlee, waiting for it to begin.

Camye made a beautiful keychain where we learned all sorts of different techniques. Yes her lips are chapped and she wont quit licking them!!

Cute as a button!!!Notice her cute ring ..Ashlee made her an adorable rosering made out of pipe cleaners!!!

Chloe our Heart and Home 4h President, she did an excellent job today! She is finishing a course in Rocketry. It was a 2 semester class.
A great day to be OUT of the house!! Now hoping and praying co-op wont be cancelled in the morning…doesnt looking promising..4-6 inches tonight!!! and more in the morning!!

I have been bitten by a …CRICUT!!!!

Isnt this beautiful??!!! This is my Cricut!! I love it!! I have been wanting one for a while now ever since I used a good friends to help with my kids L2L scrapbooks. Only they are done..and I need to get back to my scrapbooking.

It comes with one cartridge and it is soooo awesome!!!

Tired of seeing my snow pictures…

Believe it or not I am not tired of seeing the snow…tired of everything being slick and being cancelled. We havent had co-op in 2 weeks. Family Game Night at our church was cancelled tonight…but friends called to invite us over and we are headed over there.

We do still have about 20 inches on the ground. We did have freezing rain the other night and that melted the snow down a little bit. I just hope it melts slowly so we dont flood everyone down south of us (where my family lives).

When this snow storm hit..we didnt even have a snow shovel..because who needs a shovel for 6-8 inches at a time..which is all we have had at once since we moved here!!! My mom did get the kids snow shovels. Thank good ness!! THey have helped.

But my hubby thought we needed more than a snow shovel and he got a Polaris 6×6!! Very awesome!! He is a plowing maniac!! Thought this photo was beautiful!!! Love my house!!

25 inches of snow and it is still snowing…

I thought about just making this a Wordless Wednesday post. BUT I am Wordy Wendi…so that would never happen. Here we are the morning after the 20 inches fell over night!!! GORGEOUS!! This is us walking in our driveway! This is one of those panaramic views..(I think it is what it is called). Sorry I had to shrink it to get to load on here.

Paul dug himself out a little seat..:) Since he couldn’t walk in it very well with out losing a boot or two!!

GORGEOUS!!! I just love this beautiful site!!

We had to dig out a little path for the dogs. SInce they are only 9 inches or so tall, there first step buried them. Whenever I can get out of my house, I will post the video of the dogs first attempt in the snow.

First Big Snowfall of 2010

My husband’s northeastern dream has come true!! Our first real snow storm since we moved back!!! We have 20 inches +. It is still snowing!! But the good news is we have electric!!! I just pray that our electric stays on.

Paul had the hardest time standing up!! Since it came to his waist!
We built this 3 balled snowman last night!! See the Carrot nose…only over night …our snowman grew another head!! And the bottom became buried!!! Crazy!!

Camye and Paul trying to sled..not too successful!!

Cutey pie Blake!!!! This morning our view was breathtaking..I even teared up!! What a winter wonderland!

Our railing!!!! WOW!!!

Chloe decided to allow us to bury her with snow…didnt go so well. Dont try this at home!!:)

Posing in our front yard…in front of the kids snow fort they built last night.!! Only problem was it was only 3ft tall and 20 inches of that is now buried!!

It was still snowing when we went out this morning and actually still is!!!! Chloe was snow covered with her little Eskimo baby!!

Me and Kenny posing…we never pass up an oppurtunity to get our pic together!!

Mommy and Blake!!!
