{hair bow organization}

Well I bought this plain cork board. I thought I would decorate it for my little girls hair bows.
Very pretty I thought. I used some
Ribbon my mom gave me, chevron fabric , some checkered pink washi tape and my trusty ole hot glue gun.  Oh and some flower off a broken hair now..
Cute right.

Why did i waste my time? You can’t even see it!!

And I need to make another for the rest of them. Or should I clean out and sell some? My saying is {No bow No go}!
Back to the drawing board… Errrr cork board.

{One Slice of Pizza or A Whole Pizza}

Today is one of those days….where I can not wait to be alone to write on my blog and cry away.

The question about pizza is the question I asked my social worker at our adoption agency. Is today a eat one slice of pizza or should I eat the whole pizza for lunch? I know my agency has to be so tired of me and my sarcasm! Ha

                                      {THE WHOLE PIZZA WAS THE ANSWER}

I have been gracefully waitng for Cade. I have been doing so much better for Cade than I did for Mia and Avah. Third times a charm..right?

I get lots of comments saying I am sorry you have been waiting so long. I will be honest..paperwork wise “I” have not been waiting so long. My agency made me wait until April to send my homestudy. However, over 400+ days sent I  met my son…I have grown to love and ache for him fiercley. It is a terribly lonely process. Old adoption friends are great and encouraging and I have bond with them that is undeniable. New adoption friends can be incredibly awesome and encouraging. However new adoption friends can also think you are crazy and nuts with your crazy stalking…and that is okay too. To each their own.

Some friends received the news this week, there child will not come home this year, some received the news of EP submission or approval, some received court dates. My heart aches for those who received bad news and my heart rejoices for those who received good news.

We received the news today that of the 5 families waiting for court approval and a court date, we were not one of them. Most likely Cade will still come home this year….but it was a blow to my waiting mama’s heart.

I know God has this perfectly planned out so much better than I do.
I had many friends point out the positive.

~We were not in the first batch so the judges will get a feel for traditional families before they see our large family adopting our son with Biliary Atresia Kasai only. Huge deal…God is preparing the judges hearts. I know it.

~Cade has only had a little over a year at AMSA, this will give more precious memories at a great facility, in a an awesome country with awesome caretakers.

If Cade comes home in the last three months of this year….at least I will make it through soccer season with my older two kids. Get a good start on our school year. “Nest” like a crazy waiting mama nests.

My fervent prayer is for my baby boy to be home before his 4th birthday in Janaury.

Pro-life really?

Middle of the night ramblings from my iPhone.
So please excuse the typos…
Most of you know I am as Pro-life as the next conservative. I do not believe in abortion. I believe there are other choices. However.. A sin is a sin. And all sin is forgiven. This is not where I am going with this
I see so many of my friends complaining about our politicians decisions on abortion yet I see no ACTION. I see lots of complaining, posting and even picketing at abortion mills. It’s a free country and I know picketing has its purpose. I am not anti-picketing.
However before you post on Facebook or Twitter how pro-life you are; lets evaluate just how pro-life you are.
What are you doing to stop abortions?
Think about this.
If a child is not aborted… But given up by their birth mother then this child is an orphan.
Hello have you noticed the orphan crisis in this world?
How many birth mothers who can not support their child .. Are we supporting? Helping? Encouraging? Being there when they suffer the pain and loss.
Pro-lifers…including myself are awesome at flashing that we are against abortion.
But when we stand in line on judgement day… God will not say how many times did you complain about abortion on your Facebook? Twitter? How many signs did you make for picketing at the local abortion mill? Or even how many signs did you shake at devastated moms make a devastating decision?
What does God command? Love others.
How many birth moms have we thrown baby showers for that have decided to not abort there babies? …Who probably have lost friends and family because they chose life?
 How many moms have we hugged because there hearts are broken because they did abort there unborn? Yes they are still people with hearts and souls.
How many not aborted children have we adopted? Fostered? Hosted? Sponsored? Visited? Ministered to?
Please quit facebooking and tweeting your complaints and DO something!!
God wants action.

{Love Others}
seems to be a saying…that keeps popping into my mind as we wait for our sweet boy. Our son was born with biliary atresia and has had the Kasai surgery. He is doing extremely well. But we are not living in denial that he may most likely need a liver transplant someday. However…
HE NEEDS HIS FAMILY FIRST!!
We are fundraising like crazy and have received the Brittanys Hope grant but we must raise $2500 to receive the full $5,000.
My awesome friend Shari, from Personalized Prints donated 100 shirts for free. She is an awesome friends who I virtually met online while in process to bring Mia home. We just missed meeting each other in Korea to get our daughters and twice now we have just missed each other in Nashville.

Idlewild FUN

Thank goodness for Idlewild Who closed their park last year due to weather and gave out free tickets!!

I took 6 kids to a water park alone… Luckily we were meeting very helpful friends.

Idlewild or bust!

Avah loved every ride … Are you surprised? And loved riding with.. ‘Colie’.

Merry go rounds.. She had fun but needed to get on by herself, get off by herself…

Mia loved the ‘horsies’.. Even requested we go back to ride again. This is coming from the little girl who prefers the wagon while we pull her and hand her cotton candy and other treats. She usually just wants to watch.

Avah insisted upon having her photo taken for dongsang aka little brother.

Mia rode the cars with our great friend Ethan aka best helper!

Avah rode alone!! Honking and waving all the way!!

Mia really enjoyed swimming this time. She usually prefers dangling her feet and splashing others.

Idlewild has a new lazy river. The girls loved it and enjoyed riding on Mr. ken around and around.

Of course …Avah was a little fish!
